Hermit Snaillob is a boss monster that is a stronger version of a Snaillob, differentiated by its blue color and huge size. It is much larger than the player.
Locations[]
The first Hermit Snaillob is encountered in Amber Island's Cave during the mission The Cave on Amber Island, and must be defeated to continue. After its defeat, another Hermit Snaillob will not spawn in this location.
Once per day, a Hermit Snaillob also spawns north of the oasis in Eufaula Desert after the player kills a group of Snaillobs there.
Floors 91 and 99 of the Deepest Ruin each hold a Hermit Snaillob.
Behavior[]
Depending on the distance that separates it from the player, it will use one of its three attacks:
- Melee: punches with its claws
- Halfway: enters its shell and rolls around its initial position
- Ranged: execute a load with the claws well forward
